DESCRIPTION:Dysregulation in immunity can have a variety of consequences fo
 r human health. Our ability to develop effective treatment and vaccination
  strategies against many diseases requires understanding how the immune sy
 stem reacts under challenge and how immunological differences between indi
 viduals contribute to disparate outcomes. My lab uses computational immuno
 logy based on mathematical modelling to provide insights into immune dynam
 ics in health and disease. Here I will discuss some of our recent work usi
 ng virtual patients and virtual clinical trials in several contexts to ill
 ustrate how integrated modelling\, experimental\, and clinical research ca
 n advance our understanding of immunological heterogeneity and improve the
 rapeutic approaches\n\nThis seminar will take place in-person and online (
