This powerful documentary offers an unfiltered look at childhood through the voices of Indigenous youth from the Atikamekw, Eeyou Cree, and Innu Nations. Filmed over six years, director Kim O’Bomsawin captures their dreams, challenges, and defining moments on the path to adulthood—without adult narration or expert commentary. The result is an immersive and deeply moving film that serves as both a personal exploration and a call to action, amplifying the voices of a generation determined to thrive on their own terms.
