Registration & Orientation

PROGRAM START: AUGUST 19, 2025听 听 MANDATORY ATTENDANCE

  • We will be using this page as a means to transmit official information.听You will also receive emails for important information听or deadlines at your new 成人大片 email address. Email is an official means of communication for the university.听

  • The Orientation Dates are August 19-21听August.听This is a mandatory event and so make sure to mark it in your calendars now!听

  • You are required听to be available to be physically present in person as of August 19, 2025.听听

Program Registration

Registration for undergraduate medical education takes place in three stages, outlined below:

Stage 1: Online Registration for Courses (via )

  • All students entering the four-year MDCM听program must register online ()听for the full year of听courses (Fall 2025, Winter 2026, Summer 2026).
  • Only registered students can attend Orientation.
  • Registration is听between June 2, 2025听to July 11, 2025.
  • For students admitted after July 11, 2025, please register for Fall and Winter courses no later than August 14, 2025听and the UGME office will take care of Summer 2026听registration.
  • Please note that after August 14, 2025听a late fee will be charged for students who have not registered for at least 1 course.

    Interprofessional Education courses
    • Students who took IPEA 500 and 501 at 成人大片 in 2024 or later, are automatically granted an exemption from repeating these courses. This is explained in the form linked to instructions in听English听辞谤听French听
    • Students who completed similar courses, in 2024 or later, at a University other than 成人大片, please submit the form linked to instructions in听PDF icon English听or PDF icon French and include course outline(s) to the Office of Interprofessional Education (OIPE) at the following address: ipecourses.med [at] mcgill.ca听by June 30.听For students admitted after June 30, the documents must be submitted by the first day of class.听

Stage 2: Compulsory听Orientation (beginning August 19)

  • Compulsory orientation听takes place on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.听 Failure to attend any portion of the orientation may result in the cancellation of your registration.
  • The Orientation schedules for Montreal and Campus Outaouais will be posted here once available.
  • All admitted students are required to be in attendance for all orientation days, otherwise they are subject to de-registration from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.听
  • You will also receive information about social activities for new students, interest groups, and class elections organized by the .

Stage 3: Registration with the Coll猫ge des m茅decins du Qu茅bec (CMQ)

  • Details regarding registration with the CMQ will be provided at Orientation, including when you will receive an e-mail from the CMQ allowing听you to register in their online system. This is generally shortly after orientation; 成人大片's deadline for you to register is September 30th.
